Brand new for 2011 are the Darwin monkey family. The figure mould is the same as the Mango monkeys, however this is the first time that they have been released together as a family set, and are currently only available in the UK. The Mango monkeys in the US have only had a brother and sister figure, which were released in 2008. I think they were then re-released in different clothes, and put in the Calico Critters version of the Old Oak Willow Tree House.
There are other monkey figures that have been released here in the UK that don't have a surname i.e the exchange students, and carry case baby. I had previously called them the Mangos as I had no alternative, and now I'm thoroughly confused as to what surname they should have! I think to keep things easier, I will put them in the Darwin section, as they are UK figures under a UK name.
