I really enjoyed setting up this family scene for the portrait for this page. However it's only when I started to assemble them, I released I had a later version of Penny Forrester than I thought. D'oh!
This family has only been released in the UK. In the US Calico Critters range, the Pigglywink Family has been made out of the same mould as the Forrester family, which is why I think they look ugly!
I still need to find the original Forrester dog sister with flat hands, and also the later re-releases of the other family members. A girl's Sylvanian collecting is never done. I also think the apron on Mother Forrester looks wrong. I believe the original is supposed to be white with no embroided yellow.
