Right. This family confuses me greatly, so bear with me whilst I try and go through all the differences! I'll list them by country:
UK:
The family were released in the same clothes as the Porridge Bear Family. A set of sit / crawl twins were released, and a set of standing babies.
In 2002, a standing baby Petite figure was released in a school uniform. You could purchase Andromeda with the Tea Party Set, which was released in 2004.
In 2005 Margaret Petite and Halley Petite were released in the A Visit to the Dress Shop set. Mother was in a different outfit, and Halley was in the sitting position. She was previously only a crawling baby.
*Pete Petite came with the Postman Set in 2010, and is in the father mould. However to avoid confusion, I have decided that he is an uncle to the family. His official family status has never been released.
USA:
The family were released in the same clothes as the Porridge Bear Family. There was also a set of sit / crawl twins released, however Halley was in the sitting position, and Freddie in the crawling position.
Japan:
The family were in different clothes altogether. They have the traditional flat hands, and their fur colour is slightly different. Several sets of twins were released in different colours, as well as a set of sleep / crawl twins with open mouths. Standing babies were also released in different colours. How many were released I'm unsure of.

Petite Biographies
Patrick Petite spends all his time in the attic gazing through his telescope at the stars at night, dreaming of all the extra-terrestrial Sylvanians in other worlds.
Margaret Petite known to her friends as Meg, thinks that Patrick gets too carried away with his stargazing. She much prefers the mystery of astrology to astronomy.
Piers Petite wants to be an astronaut when he grows up and is always designing and building new toy rockets.
Andromeda Petite enjoys both her parents' hobbies. She always reads her horoscope written by her mother in the local newspaper.
Freddy and Halley Petite's favourite toy is the mobile of the planets hanging over their cot, the first present from their father Patrick.
